8:00 PM MARE ISLAND HERITAGE TRUST — Mare Island Shoreline Heritage Preserve Walk the one-mile paved trail to the Spirit Ship atop Mare Island Hill. Holiday lights glow in the darkness of the Preserve with the backdrop of the lights of the Carquinez Bridge, the historic C & H Sugar Marquee and the surrounding communities at the Naval Cemetery, Reservoir Oak, Rowser Garden, Spirit Ship and along Bunkers Trail. Come for the sunset–stay for the stars! Stars shine in the magnificence of the night sky and this year, stars of lights glow along Bunkers Trail and in the Rowser Garden.
